What this is

Mann Mechanics is a governance framework for systems that need to manage supply, capacity, issuance, or allocation under conditions of scarcity, volatility, and institutional complexity.

At the centre of the framework is Progressive Depletion Minting, a rules-based control mechanism in which expansion occurs only when defined conditions are met, contraction operates continuously by default, and resistance to further expansion increases as cumulative supply grows.

The framework is designed to make system behaviour more visible, more auditable, and easier to explain. It is intended to support institutional analysis, structured dialogue, and disciplined implementation planning across different sectors.

It is a reference discipline. It is not a demand for immediate adoption.

What this is Not

It is not a policy prescription. Mann Mechanics does not tell institutions what political, fiscal, or monetary choices to make.

It is not a replacement for existing authority. Institutions retain full control over decisions, mandates, and legal responsibilities.

It is not a regulatory mandate. Participation is voluntary, and non-participation carries no penalty.

It is not a promise of perfect outcomes. The purpose is to improve clarity, predictability, and transparency in how expansion decisions are structured and observed.

It is not the same thing as certification. Mann Mechanics is the framework steward, interpretation body, and licensing interface. Conformity assessment, standards maintenance, and registry functions sit separately with MannCert.

It is not an automatic right to implementation. Access to materials, demonstrations, or discussions does not itself grant implementation rights where protected methods apply.

What happens next

For institutions, the next step is not adoption. It is evaluation.

A typical pathway begins with an initial briefing to establish relevance, followed by technical review of the mathematical framework, simulation models, and implementation architecture. If there is alignment, this can progress into a limited pilot dialogue focused on institutional fit, parameterisation, governance considerations, and deployment boundaries. Any full implementation pathway would then proceed under separate written terms, with conformity assessment remaining independent through MannCert where pursued.

For researchers, public-interest groups, and technical reviewers, the Personal Edition provides a reference environment in which the mechanism can be examined on observable behaviour rather than description alone.

The objective at this stage is simple: understand the mechanism clearly, assess whether it solves a real structural problem, and determine whether further engagement is justified.

Framework

The framework is designed to support institutional decision-making, not to replace it.
