Stewardship and Evolution of the Mann Mechanics Framework
Mann Mechanics is designed as a long-term governance framework intended to support transparency, accountability, and structured decision environments in systems managing scarce resources. The purpose of governance is to ensure that the framework remains coherent, responsibly stewarded, and capable of evolving in a measured and transparent manner as understanding and engagement develop.
Current Stewardship
The framework is currently stewarded by its originator through Mann Mechanics. Stewardship at this stage focuses on maintaining conceptual integrity, supporting research and dialogue, and ensuring that materials remain clear, consistent, and publicly accessible.
Development is informed by engagement with researchers, practitioners, and institutional stakeholders.
Governance is guided by the following principles:
Transparency - Core concepts and developments are communicated openly.
Clarity - The framework is expressed to support understanding across disciplines.
Responsibility - Development prioritises long-term stability over short-term expediency.
Proportionality - Governance structures evolve in line with real-world engagement.
Continuity - Stewardship seeks to ensure durability beyond any single individual or organisation.
As engagement broadens, governance is intended to evolve toward a more distributed structure reflecting a wider range of perspectives and expertise. This evolution is expected to occur progressively and transparently, consistent with the framework’s emphasis on measured development.
Future arrangements are expected to incorporate participation from institutional users, independent experts, and technical contributors.
As defined adoption milestones are reached, a portion of founder participation is intended to transition toward a collectively stewarded structure referred to as the Humanity Share. The objective is to support the framework’s evolution toward broader stewardship over time. This transition is expected to be administered through appropriate governance arrangements with legal safeguards designed to support continuity and responsible oversight.
The long-term objective is to support a governance model capable of sustaining the framework as shared infrastructure while preserving its conceptual coherence. Governance evolution is intended to ensure that stewardship remains aligned with the framework’s public-interest orientation and its commitment to responsible development.
Development decisions are informed by:
Conceptual soundness and internal consistency
Observed behaviour in research and evaluation contexts
Feedback from practitioners and institutional dialogue
Long-term systemic implications
Where appropriate, development is expected to follow a disciplined approach that includes versioned materials, clear documentation of changes, and attention to continuity so that evolution remains understandable and predictable.
Mann Mechanics maintains an open posture toward inquiry, critique, and discussion. Engagement with diverse perspectives is considered essential to responsible stewardship and to the continued refinement of the framework.
Governance will continue to evolve alongside the framework’s development. The intention is to support a structure that remains transparent, resilient, and capable of serving a broad range of contexts while maintaining clarity of purpose.
